Great Welsh pianist and Associate Artist of CMF, Llŷr Williams marks the festival’s tenth anniversary with an exceptional recital including works by Schumann, Liszt and Chopin. Widely admired for his profound musical intelligence and the expressive and communicative nature of his interpretations, Llŷr has most recently embarked on of a five-recital exploration of the late works of Schubert in Cardiff, returned to Wigmore Hall, performed again with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, given the opening recital of the Southbank Centre’s International Piano Series and made his Canadian debut at the Salle Bourgie in Montreal.
