Originally from Paris, Camille Thomas is widely regarded as one of the finest young cellists of today. Among her many accolades to date she was the first cellist to be signed by prestigious record label Deutsche Grammophon in 40 years and named on the 2018 Forbes ‘30 under 30’ list. Her music was described by Gramophone as “delicious, warming [and] full of flavour” and we are delighted to welcome her to Cowbridge to make her Welsh debut.

French pianist Julien Brocal was a student of Maria João Pires, with whom he has gone on to collaborate and perform all over the world. His first solo recording (of works by Chopin) was released in January 2017 and received critical acclaim from the international press, most notably BBC Music Magazine, which called it “Spellbinding Chopin”. They  gave it 5 stars and featured it as the ‘Instrumental Choice’ album of the month.
