Catrin Finch – telyn
Seckou Keita – kora

Drawing deep on their own diverse traditions and transforming them with remarkable synergy, Welsh harpist Catrin Finch and Senegalese kora player Seckou Keita perform works from their two critically acclaimed albums.

Catrin Finch is one of the most accomplished harpists of her generation. From 2000 to 2004 she was Royal Harpist to HRH the Prince of Wales and has gone on to delight audiences throughout the world and record for most of the major international recording companies. Versatile in different musical genres, her collaboration with Seckou Keita began in 2013, the duo’s first album topping the World Music charts for several weeks.

Born of a line of griots and kings of the ancient kingdom of Gabou in Southern Senegal, Seckou Keita has graced the international stage since 1996, earning worldwide acclaim as a master of the kora. This 22-stringed West African harp has been described as a wondrous instrument that can soothe the bloodlust of warriors and take the human spirit to a place of deep meditation, stillness and beauty.
