BY CAR

Westbound from M4

Leave the M4 at Junction 33 straight onto the dual carriageway.  After 2 miles take the first junction, signposted ‘Barry’.  At the roundabout take the fourth exit signposted ‘Cowbridge/A48′.  Take the A48 for approximately 8 miles (passing through St Nicholas & Bonvilston). Next, take the road signposted ‘Cowbridge’. At the traffic lights, go straight on into Cowbridge High Street.

Eastbound from M4

Leave the M4 at Junction 35, signposted ‘Bridgend and Pencoed’.  Go round the roundabout, under the motorway and take the exit for ‘Bridgend’. Travel down the dual carriageway for approximately 2 miles, then at the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit heading towards Bridgend.  Continue down the carriageway until you reach another roundabout; take the first exit to Cardiff/Cowbridge A48, travelling for 5 miles until you see the sign post for Cowbridge. Continue down into Cowbridge High Street.

By train

Bridgend Station is only 6 miles away from Cowbridge; alternatively Cardiff Central Station is a 25 minute drive away. Both stations are stops on the Swansea-London Paddington route (tickets from www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk). Taxis are available at the stations or you can take the X2 bus from either Bridgend or Cardiff to Cowbridge. For full details of local transport including timetables visit Traveline Cymru.
