Cowbridge Music Festival took another step towards becoming one of the leading musical events in Wales with the announcement that the celebrated violinist Nicola Benedetti MBE is to be the festival’s Patron.

Nicola’s association with the festival began in 2011 when she gave an unforgettable recital with pianist Alexei Grynyuk at Bradenstoke Hall. As one of the best musicians of her generation and a passionate ambassador for music, particularly as a means of enriching the lives of young people, Nicola was the number one choice as Patron for the festival.

CMF shares in her aim to give children opportunities in music and to nurture young talent. The highly regarded educational work that she does in her native Scotland and around the world provides an inspirational example of what can be achieved.

We look forward to working together with Nicola in the years to come and are forever grateful for her support and endorsement of the festival.
